The BOCHK Science and Technology Innovation Prize, a non-governmental merit-based award sponsored by Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited, seeks to reward scientists or research teams from Hong Kong or research-related institutions set up by Hong Kong higher education institutions in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area for their pioneering efforts and outstanding contributions in scientific research and technological innovation and their application in society. The winners will receive a cash award, a certificate and a trophy. Besides, their work will inspire scientific researchers and innovators in Hong Kong to continue with innovative exploration, establish themselves in the country, serve the nation and contribute to the world.
