HLMA recognises outstanding research work in mathematical sciences

The 2023 Hang Lung Mathematics Award (HLMA) has been announced recently. The gold prize was awarded to Kyan Cheung Ka-hin and Ethan Soo Jon-yi of Harrow International School Hong Kong for their study on the Properties of the Semigroup Generated by the RL Fractional Integral. The silver prize was jointly awarded to Mok Chun-hei and Tsang Shiu Tim Secondary School, and the bronze prize was won by Ms. Ewina Pun of HKUST and Ms. Owen H. Ko of HKUST.

The iCAN 2024 is now open for registrations, with the deadline for submissions extended to midnight on Dec 9. The nine-month competition will showcase innovations that aim to enhance our quality of life and create more job opportunities. This year’s theme is “iCAN – The future of our society and economy”.
